OVERLOOKING PARAGGI BAY

Niasca is right on the sea: on the road that links Santa Margherita Ligure to Portofino and next to the beautiful Paraggi bay, with it’s sand beach, amazing green transparent water, tiny village and exclusive villas.

Niasca is included in the natural park of Portofino: a network of paths leads you through the hills, where flora and fauna are ever-changing, due to the special biodiversity, between stunning views on the sea and steep cliffs.

The flat sleeps eight people, and is composed of one double bedroom with bathroom, one twin bedroom with bathroom and one bedroom for four with bathroom.

The living room is a very large comfortable room with a balcony looking out on the sea; the dining area and the kitchen are included within it.

The kitchen area is in the back part of the room, and lies actually under the street, as the villa was built previous to the road that winds on the cliff, towards Portofino; but no sound comes from the road: an old soundproof stone arch comes between it and the living room ceiling, providing a total isolation from any noise.

The flat is provided with a washing-drying machine and dishwasher; complete kitchen equipment and bed linen are included. In front of the house there is a one car parking space (no van). Underneath the flat is a charming ancient boat house.

The parking space is in front of the property; the one that should be used is in the middle and the car should be parked in a way that allow parking for the other two cars

Portofino

(1,5 km away), an ancient and sophisticated village of indescribable beauty. The brightly-colored houses are stacked one close to the other, as though they were the tiles in a precious mosaic.

The famous “Piazzetta” nestles in a small nook along the coast: the heart of Portofino overlooks the picturesque harbor, populated by small fishing boats and luxurious yachts.

There is very fashionable clothes shops, jeweller’s shops, very nice and romantic cafés and restaurants, a tiny supermarket. It’s possible reach Portofino by a nice walk along the sea or a pedestrian path.

Is also linked by bus: the stop is close to the house.

ROMANTIC AND HYSTORICAL

My grand-grand-father, from Genoa, both the flat with the boathouse for give to his ten sons the opportunity to grow up healthy and strong, swimming, rowing and hiking in stunning landscapes.
In the XIX century, Portofino was a little fisherman village, unknown from the newborn tourism.
The only other tourists was two English brother and them family, living in the two castle of the area Castello Paraggi, in front of Niasca and castello Brown immediately above Portofino.
Nowadays a natural park and the protected bay of Paraggi bring back to the enchant of those days. As my grandfather, my mother, my sisters, I spent all the summers of my childhood in Niasca
